Breast Lipolift

Overview

Breast Lipolift surgery, also known as Mastopexy, is a technique in which surgeons remove extra skin from the breast and pull the breast tissues together to reshape and lift the breasts and give them a more appealing shape.

This surgery helps eliminate the drooping and sagging of the breasts. At HospitalXP, the procedure is performed by highly experienced Ph.D. surgeons with their well-trained team of doctors for aftercare.

  • If one breast is way more dropped than the other.
  • If you are likely to get pregnant, you should avoid getting this procedure done.

Breast Lipolift Procedure

Breast Lipolift Procedure is done in three stages:

Perioperative

Initially, an appointment with our Ph.D. surgeon is scheduled to examine your medical history. You should share your mammography reports with the surgeon and clarify your health. The surgeon will examine you physically, the firmness of your breasts, and the areola position and discuss the procedure's nature. The surgeon will answer your questions diligently and walk you through your customized plan. It would help to be honest with your surgeon about what you expect after the surgery.

Intraoperative

You will be injected with anesthesia when you are all prepped for the procedure and cleared the level to go forward with the operation. General anesthesia will help lead you comfortably through the process while you sleep.

The surgeon chooses three patterns of incision that merely depend on your shape and size of breasts, skin elasticity, areola size, and degree of sagging, along with the results you require from the procedure. Incisions can be made

  • Only around the areolas
  • Around the areolas, which goes down to the breast crease.
  • Around the areola going down and along the breast crease

The surgeons will choose the type of incision patterns that will fit you.

After the incision pattern is selected and professionally made, the basal breast tissues are pulled to give your breast a round and firm shape. If the areola needs to be shortened, the excess skin is removed. Next, the areola and nipple are lifted and placed in their position. Excessive skin is also reduced to give the breasts a youthfully elastic feel and shape.

In the end, the incisions are closed, and the breasts are repositioned. Surgeons with their expertise will make sutures in the position where they are less visible, giving them time to heal and clear out the skin thoroughly.

Postoperative

After the procedure is complete, Our doctor will examine your health before going home. An aftercare plan will be given to you along with the medication to reduce and subside the pain and inflammation.

The soreness, inflammation, and bruising will subside within a week. As your body heals, you will get satisfactory results in 2 months. You will be asked to reduce the strenuous exercise and avoid heavy lifting.
