Lip Augmentation

Overview

Most people are interested in flaunting more defined and fuller lips, while others seem to find their lips sagging, losing their charm with age. One way or the other, the answer to their solution is Lip Augmentation which is a minimally invasive procedure. HospitalXP is here, with its captivating opportunity, by providing a supervised and well-managed platform for this procedure.

Lip Augmentation is a simple aesthetic procedure that refines your lips' shape, structure, and volume. The surgeons use different fillers for the lips, but they are chosen based on your preferences and results. The hyaluronic acid fillers are the most advanced fillers used by the surgeon. However, there are other filler options, such as fat grafting, tissue grafting, silicone, or expanded polytetrafluoroethylene.

Lip Augmentation Procedure is done in three stages:

Perioperative

At HospitalXP, trust that the patient under the knife should be carefully consulted and appropriately discussed. We will arrange a face-to-face session for you with our Ph.D. surgeon to discuss and ponder the situation. The surgeon, an expert in their field, will provide the suggestions and advice suitable for you. During this session, the surgeon will also examine your past medical history, current health status, and any medications to re-adjust. If you seem fit for the procedure after the diagnosis, they will provide a complete treatment plan and follow-up, clearing all your queries.

The surgeon will take pictures of the current lip structure, volume, and size to compare this with the future results.

Intraoperative

Lip Augmentation is a simple procedure taking merely 30-minutes and is an in-office procedure. Our surgeons taking care of the sanitation will sterilize the lips before local anesthesia. It is possible to perform the treatment under a local anesthetic; however, it is not essential.

Under the anesthesia's effect, the surgeon will diligently apply minute incisions on the corner of your lips. Through this incision, a clamp is passed to make a tunnel. Once the clamp is placed on your lips, it will open, releasing the implant. Then, the clamp is removed, and the incisions are sutured closed.

Postoperative

The downtime of the surgery is usually 1-3 days only. Our surgeons have particular instructions the patient should follow to avoid future complications. Within the first 7-14 days, you should avoid putting pressure on your lips as the implants might shift. It would help if the patient avoided a wide mouth opening. It will take a week for the implant to set in your lips.

Our surgeon will prescribe painkillers to ease away the pain. The patient can also use ice swabs on the lips to help with the pain and swelling.
